Hi,
I've just spent another couple of hours to add to the first couple of
hours spent fighting with the package maker. I did have a set of rules
about what worked and what didn't: Specifying absolute paths caused
the contents of the package to be written to /Applications as
Contents/ etc. etc. I also had, for a while, a thing where it would
fail to install spewing dozens of "Diverting" messages to the log then
successfully installing if I removed my build directory ... but now it
doesn't work at all.
I'm not trying anything clever, I'm not just dismissing it out of hand
and I'm not a complete dimwit so clearly there's something critical
I'm missing here. Any idea what it is? Is there an update that fixes
the ... glaringly obvious ... issues?
BTW, whoever thought it was more important to have reflective icons
than to have the thing work (at all) should be sent to work on Vista.
Dave
