Well, the Installer.app and PackageMaker are not the best applications. There are some bugs
Apple is not willing to fix for a few years now. There are also some things that can't be done.
So I was thinking about writing an application, that will install my software, but have the look and
feel of Apple's installer and will also create package receipts as is a good manner on Mac OS
as far as i know.
I have all the peaces except for the one. How to create a file suitable for pkgutil --import-plist
from a bom file. I want the receipt to hold correct user/access rights for every installed file
so e.g. pkgutil --repair can be used if needed.
