certainly helped me.

path relocate all the non-relocatable pkgs
Hey Guys,
I'm running
into an installer issue on 10.6, it's likely to be a Mac OS bug. I'm wondering
if anyone run into the same issue and if there's any workaround of it.
I
have a meta-package that includes several pkgs, some of the pkgs have the flag
"IFPkgFlagRelocatable" set to false in the Info.plist. The files under these
non-relocatable packages are intended to be always installed at a certain
location(/Library etc.) and should not be relocated even if user selects a the
custom path when installing through a mpkg. This works as expected in 10.4,
10.5.
But in 10.6, if user selects a custom path when installing the
mpkg, Mac OS will ignore the "IFPkgFlagRelocatable=false" property in those
non-relocatable packages. It will install all the files at the path user
selects.
The expected results is Mac OS installs the non-relocatable
files at its default location and only installs the relocatable files at the
path user selects.
So has anybody run into the same issue or could
suggest any workaround?
Thanks
Regards
Lincoln
