This could be worked around with a distribution (ergo it requires
Tiger or later) instead of a metapackage. With a distribution script,
you could specify (manually, not with PackageMaker) which packages can
be installed to another folder (or volumes) and this possibility would
only be available in the customize pane of the Installation Type step.
