Possible to customize an installer's failure message?

Hi there,

I'm working on building an installer using Packages, and it has a
postflight script that can fail in a number of different ways. I was
wondering if there was a way to change what an installer's failure
message is, perhaps programmatically, so that it can a) be more
specific about what went wrong, and/or b) give instructions to the
user about how to proceed. Right now, it just gives a generic
"Install Failed" message that's not very helpful. Is there any way to
do this?

Thanks in advance!
- Brian
