And just to clarify, *yes* a flat package installer can show EULAs and have installation checks. What's commonly referred to as an "installer" or "package" is typically a *distribution*, which contains *payloads* in the form of *packages*. Bundle style distributions typically use .mpkg as the extension, while flat distributions use .pkg, just like packages.
