64 bit plug-ins

Here's another packagemaker issue for your consumption. I checked the installer-dev history for the last 5 years and saw no related issue so here goes:

Why I am converting the 32 bit packagemaker installer plug-ins to 64 bit: because Apple would really prefer it so.

The problem: The 64 bit plug-in(s) are not loaded and used by the PackageMaker installer. This is a flat file installer and the plug-ins are located at the root of the package tree inside a folder ./Plugins

The 32-bit plug-ins work. But once I recompile the source as 64-bit plug-ins they don't work. I scoured the web and I didn't see anyone else running in to the 64 bit packagemaker plug-in's not loading issue. Has anyone run in to this and found the solution? I'm sure I'll figure this out but if anyone can save me 2 days that would be nice.

Thanks,
Tony Zepeda
