Hi,
Does anyone has successfully signed a distribution package when there is a reference to an external component package?
I have some component packages which are kept in some external directory and I have provided that location in the <pkg-ref> field of the Distribution.dist file.
The installation is successful and everything works except that I am unable to sign the packages.
When my external packages are also signed, I think there should be a way to sign the distribution package as well. Just curious, if anybody has faced this issue. Also what other alternatives may I take because if I start calling them from my postinstall script using installer command, even installer command fails to install some of my packages due to some bug (probably in the installer when we invoke it multiple times in series).
Question-
Anyone has any idea about how Distribution package calls the component packages when the packages are specified in the <pkg-ref> field?
Thanks,
Vikram
