Using tpi8022x for STREAMS conversion

  • Subject: Using tpi8022x for STREAMS conversion

I see in the Advanced Client documentation that the module used to
convert from TPI to a DLPI ethernet driver is tpi8022x. Is it reasonable
to assume that one could push this module between a custom TPI module
(for example, a PPPoE pseudo-serial driver) and the ethernet driver, and
let him take care of the protocol conversion - or is this a pipe dream?

Thanks,
-Chris
