Okay but what do i put after the "//"? Nodes of an AppleTalk network may not own an IP address, right?

I apologize for my ignorance. But if i want to make a copy of my app visible to other copies of my app running on an arbitrary network, how would I determine the text to represent the network location to register with NSL? Do I resort to OT? Or is there some shorthand within NSL, like "milkweed://MyNetworkAddress"?

If my cpu has both IP and AT, do i need to register twice, once for each protocol? I understood (or hoped) that NSL was somehow protocol independent.

Thanks,

Anders.
