I agree that IC is a "good thing" and have always liked it. There's one
caution I'd like to mention, and I term it "caution" because I'm not
absolutely sure of the cause of the problem. I think this is correct, but
I'm prepared to be corrected if necessary.
The problem is with a fair number of sets, say a dozen or so. It seems to
me that this causes a corrupted IC prefs file, because there are too many
resources in the file. The Resource Manager has a limit of 2700 or so
resources, and bad things can happen beyond that number.
Creating an IC "set" duplicates the set selected, duplicating all the
resources. After a dozen or so you're over the limit and the prefs file
is broken. Various apps start behaving badly, and can't find prefs or get
bad ones :(
