It's Apple's own word..... unfortunately....

If you become an open-source member, you can get
ppplib, which would be able to do this as well.
If you download ppplib, I'll help you get up and running with it. It's
very easy.

I did.
There's an interesting "Public API" which does connect/disconnect/monitor (although the headers are not synch with the functions...)

I managed to make it work on RTC, but it does not work on PPPoE. Connect always returns 19.
