PPP Established speed

Hi,
Does anyone know, How do you tell what the established speed is, as I would
like to display this, I can see where to get it from PPPLib using GetOption
( PPP_OPT_DEV_CONNECTSPEED ), but where do you get this from Open transport
for my MacOS 9.x version ???.
