Hi Sachin,
I for one wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole.
AppleEvents are sent using the AppleEvent Manager, which sends them through
the EventManager, which uses the PPCToolbox to communicate with remote
machines. All of this is AFAIK Apple proprietary. If you can get hold of
documentation for all that than it would be feasible. Major advantage would
be that every Mac supports this out of the box and access can be controlled
from the client.
I'd rather 'invent' my own proprietary protocol based on TCP/IP and have
client software on the Mac do the 'translation' to local AppleEvents.
Just my 2", anybody welcome to educate me and tell were I am wrong.
