Hi,

I am developing a cross platform product and the need is to be able to login
to a remote(mac machine) from windows machine and be able to launch/execute
an application remotely. While surfing on the net, I come across lot of
articles talking about appleevents but not talking much about it. so my
questions are...

1. can I use appleevents to achieve my goals. If so please explain how.
2. can I send appleevents from the windows machine to mac machines? If yes ,
then how can I formulate appleevents into network packets?

any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Regards,
Sachin
