Hi,
Perhaps an off-topic question, but I'll try anyway...
I play with some open source packages for reading SmartCards, enabling
secure transactions, digital signing and so on. So far I've installed USB
drivers for the SmartCard reader, the standard Unix packages has compiled
fine and provided me with a couple of Unix CLI apps and shared libraries
(.so files).
But is there any way for a network aware application (either Carbon or
Cocoa) to take advantage of Unix shared libraries?
One way to I'd thought of is to have a look at real world applications like
Netscape 7.0 and create a PKCS11 crypto module. But I'm not sure can I use a
unix ".so"-file from a CFM-plugin? Netscape/Mozilla web pages has been no
help so far...
Any ideas?
Regards,
/Anders
