Hi all,
We are developing an application using URLAccess and we experiment
some problems using it trough proxy WITH authentication. We use
asynchronous mode with URLOpen.
1) When we send a GET method to retrieve an HTTPS page, we always get
the 407 error (proxy need valid username and password). We've checked
the TCP packet and URLAccess does simply not send these infos! Is it a
known bug?
2) When we send a GET method to retrieve an HTTP page there is no
problem for the first few attempts, but after several attempt, a
request takes several minutes to accomplish. In fact the data come
quickly but it is the kURLCompletedEvent that we are waiting for so
long... Any Idea?
Another info: it happens only when the proxy and the page to retrieve
are not on the same LAN!!!
Other info:
- Mac OS 9.2.2 and URL Access Manager 2.4.1
- Everything works fine if there is no proxy, or proxy without
authentication.
I found nothing about that anywhere so any comments are welcome!
Thanks,
