Hi all,
I forwarded this from the Carbon-Development list, as I think it belongs
in the network-programming category...
As far as I recall, there's a permission issue connected to accessing the
proxy-settings.
...But that should not prevent an application from reading the
preferences, only writing, right ?

I've been trying to figure out how I can obtain the settings from the
proxy settings found in the network preference pane. I've managed to
figure out all the items except for "Secure Web". If enumerated all the
preferences from Internet Config and after digging through all the
items, I haven't been able to locate the setting for Secure Web.
Please CC: any replies to email@hidden

Once you've seen it, you'll return looking at it. You can even deny to
others that you love it, but you can't deny to yourself that you want it.
