This is a follow-up of my earlier mail.
1. In MAC OS how is the userid & password stored for any dialup window?
Where is it stored in the system?
2. Does the OS remember the userid/password automatically or do you need
to make any specific settings for that?
3. Where in the system are the dialer's properties stored (like
configuration, modem type)? Can we edit the files associated with this?

Hi,
I want to change the Internal Modem Configuration (like
Service Provider, Account name, Password, Telephone Number) through my
program . I was thinking of modifying
"com.apple.internetconnect.plist" but it doesn't store all
the information.
So where does System Preferences store all these information ?
Can I change this information
either by
1. editing plist
or 2. Programmatically using carbon interface or by apple scripting ?
Any help ?
Thanks & Regards,
Abhijit
