http://adckitchen.apple.com?Event=Rendezvous20030226

============================================================

The Apple Developer Connection cordially invites you to join us from
February 26 through February 29 for a Rendezvous Kitchen where you
will learn about Rendezvous, and how to add support for Rendezvous
to your applications and in your devices. We'll also present details
on how to test your products for compliance, and how to license the
Rendezvous trademark.

-----------------------------
KITCHEN STRUCTURE AND CONTENT
-----------------------------
This kitchen will begin Wednesday morning with a presentation about
Rendezvous, followed by Q&A and discussion. As this kitchen is "hands on",
developers will spend Thursday and Friday working on their own code and
devices. Apple Engineers will be on hand to assist you with implementation,
discuss conformace test issues and answer questions.

-----------------------------
ADVANCE PREPARATION
-----------------------------
Developers should review the documentation found on the following sites.
http://developer.apple.com/macosx/rendezvous
http://www.zeroconf.org

If you're adding Rendezvous to a device, please join the Darwin program.
http://developer.apple.com/darwin/

After joining the Darwin program, please download and review the mDNSResponder
code. More information about Rendezvous in Darwin can be found at
http://developer.apple.com/darwin/projects/rendezvous/

-----------------------------
EQUIPMENT
-----------------------------
If you are incorporating Rendezvous into a hardware device, you may
bring it the Kitchen along with the development system.

Please bring FireWire and USB cables for any peripherals that you bring.

-----------------------------
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
-----------------------------
There is no enrollment fee for this kitchen. Apple will cover all
costs for kitchen-related meals, refreshments, and content. You will
assume your own travel to the Apple Cupertino Campus and hotel
expenses. The event confirmation will contain information on lodging
options.

Seating is limited and we expect this kitchen to be very popular, so
we encourage you to register as soon as possible at
http://adckitchen.apple.com?Event=Rendezvous20030226

Upon receipt of your reservation, we will send you a confirmation
via e-mail reserving your space. You are not guaranteed a place
without this confirmation. If you have any questions, please
contact us at email@hidden. We sincerely hope to see
you at the event!

Best regards,

Apple Developer Connection
