The logs shows that the packet is being received and rejected by pppd.
This is not normal as IP data packets should not endup in pppd and should
remain in the kernel.
This can happen if the packet is incorrect or if something wrong happened to
the data structure in the stack. According to your log, the packet looks
good...
Is your case reproducible ? Does it always happen after 6 hours ?
