Hi All,
I have a listening endpoint via a notifier, which works great, when used
on the same machine though localhost, as I get T_LISTEN, then I do OTListen,
followed by the OTAccept, then I get T_ACCEPTCOMPLETE in the listener
notifier and then get T_PASSCON in the notifier of the endpoint, which has
accepted the connection.
The strange thing if I use the same code with 2 machines (10.1.5 &
10.2.4), I get the T_LISTEN message, but never the T_ACCEPTCOMPLETE or the
T_PASSCON on either machine being the server (i.e. OTListener).
Also if I do a OTSnd or OTRcv, the data is never received, but seen to
been have sent.
I have checked that OTConnect return noErr, and this was in blocking
mode. Its all very strange. I have checked from the terminal "lsof -I", and
it shows the that the sockets are connected together.
Any Ideas, or any way to find out what could have gone wrong. There is no
firewall on the 10.2.4 machine, as then the lsof -I, would have indicate an
incomplete connection.
Thanks in advance
Mark.
