I'm trying to cope with a legacy version of EnterNet. EnterNet is an
OS 8/9 PPPoE utility. I have a requirement to support it in "classic"
mode so suggestions about changing the installer set won't help me.
When our custom EnterNet install is done everything is great except
for one thing. The mdev that is selected is not what is should be.
When a user opens the TCP/IP control panel they find that the
"Connect via:" popup selection is set to "PPP" instead of "EnterNet
Classic". On top of that the user mode disables them from changing it
until they change to "Administrator" and unlock it.
I'm trying to provide legacy DSL users the most painless experience
possible. I would like to change configuration so that the correct
mdev is selected. I've use the MoreNetworkSetup stuff to create PPP
configurations and look at the example code some more. But what I
really want to do is change the current configuration. Can I do that
with MNS ? I'm not really sure how to approach it.
Can I use NSHGetConfiguration to get the configuration, change it and
put it back with NSHSetConfiguration ?
