Obtaining proxy authentication info

  • Subject: Obtaining proxy authentication info

Does anybody know how to obtain the username and password that's stored for a proxy in Panther? System Preferences has the ability to enter this information, but there's no keys in SystemConfiguration that I can find to retrieve it. Is there someplace else I'm supposed to get this info from, or am I not supposed to be able to get to it?

I ask because we have some code that uses libcurl which has the ability to use proxies if necessary, but since prior to Panther there was no authentication information stored in System Configuration I never bothered to setup curl to use the proxies.

Thanks,
Ryan McGann
