List of all apps supporting a particular URL scheme?

Hi,
I was wondering if anybody knew of a way to get the list of apps that
claim to be able to support a particular URL scheme. This may be part
of a more general capability, such as the ability to handle a
particular extension, etc. For instance, if I wanted to find out all
the possible Web browsers, I would imagine I would either ask for any
apps that can handle ".html" files, or any apps that can handle the
"http:" scheme, although if I was looking for strictly Web browsers,
the former would also show BBEdit and other HTML editors, rather than
just Web browsers. I am looking to create a pop-up populated with the
same items as found in the "Internet" control panel's Web tab for
specifying Web browsers, FTP clients, etc.
