Hmmm, OT on Mac OS X does not support any of the events that are delivered to the client notifier. These events include things like kOTSystemShutdown and so on. Most clients want to listen for events associated with a particular network provider. In that case, you install a notifier on the provider itself using OTInstallNotifier.
