How to tell wireless from wired ethernet interfaces?

  • Subject: How to tell wireless from wired ethernet interfaces?

Is there a way, using MoreSCF, to differentiate between wired and wireless ethernet interfaces?

For example, my app has a list of wired hotspots and a separate list of wireless hotspots. When the user presses my Connect button, I'd like to be able to automatically choose the correct interface for the selected hotspot type.

What is the best way to handle this, if my app needs to support 3rd party cards as well as Apple cards and on-board ethernet?

Thanks,
Dave

The path of least resistance, it's not just for electricity any more.
