Hello,
My Carbon CFM application using Open Transport creates an endpoint for
UDP protocol and then binds it to port 137 (to listen to broadcasts in
network neighborhood).
I am running Jaguar 10.2.6.
What behavior should I expect if I turn on 'Windows File Sharing'? I
mean - in such a case, will I be able to bind to port 137 and listen to
broadcasts? Will this require administrative privileges?
And, what problems am I likely to encounter if 'Windows File Sharing'
is off?
Regards,
Igor
