Hi Justin,
It often helps if you describe the problem you are having.
well, right now my problem is that I've spent about half a day
surfing the web without finding any example of code sending data to a
bpf file !
For a start, I'd like to study an example and play with it, it would
help me become familiar with this and avoid stupid^H^H^H^H^H^Hbasic
questions.
But (!), i won't complain if you want to help me ! ;-D
So here is my 'basic' case : "Message too long".
I open the bpf, i do the BIOCSETIF iotcl...
write 100 bytes, 10 bytes, 1 byte = Message too long !
I guess I'm missing some more configuration ? But the man doesn't
really help, as all things related to 'length' are stated explicitely
for 'reading'.
I've tried to figure out in the libnet code how they make the
initialization, but the code is way to big and I don't really have
time to learn libnet just for doing this (as i will not be using
libnet).
So ? Any clue ?
Thanks a lot ! :-)
Benoit.
