In 2001 I wrote the tunnel.kext. Amazing that it is still maintained
by some folks :-)
Anyway, I need similar functionality for a project and I was wondering
if 10.4 has something build in with tun functionality.
I also see the OS X network infrastructure has improved in several
interesting ways. I kind of lost contact with that side of the world
:-)
Are there now maybe better ways to have userspace app talk to the ip
stack? I basically need to inject en read IP, process it in userspace
and then give it back to the stack to put it on the network again.
