Well sort of 2 architectures. The app (actually plug-in)
is running under Rosetta. The data is fine, in fact the app
crashs right after an accept, as I create a thread to read the
data.

I have determined that it is not the port number but the
number number of ports that seems to bring it down.

On the server side I listen on 8 ports and on each port
I do 1 accept. When the 7th port does the accept I crash
a thread.

The server app does not exhibit the problem on any of the PPC on which I have tested.

This means nothing. You are working with 2 completely different architectures. I would check your code. Are you validating any of the data before using it?
