dhcp client not accepting the IP address

  • Subject: dhcp client not accepting the IP address

I hope i am not offtopic, but I have some trouble with the net of my computer

So, wifi works fine with dhcp
Ethernet doesn't get IP address

I tried with a guest OS (windows on parallels) and it works fine (ethernet card works properly)

I sniffed the traffic on the ethernet when i do a DHCP REQUEST.  The logs essentially show that the OFFER is older than the IP address received in a previous request (seems like I got at some point an OFFER for several years in the future and the new OFFER is ignored for this). Now I guess it's just a matter of deleting where the file containing the IP address is stored, but I can't find it.

Any help?
Thanks!
