Not sure on your statement, but I was mentioning that the broadcom
chipset/driver used in iMac, there isn't a problem on 10.5.2. But the
Atheros chipset/driver used in the MacBook on 10.5.2 we are seeing this new
behavior.

As I mentioned this behavior is new in 10.5.2, not in prior OS releases
e.g. 10.5.1, so something must have changed and linked to wireless
functionality of MacBooks.
I have noticed that the AirportAtheros.kext version has moved from 3.0 (in
10.5.1) to 3.1.1 (in 10.5.2).
I do wonder if I could just move the 10.5.1 kext to 10.5.2 to verify if
this is down to chipset/driver issue, although while not knowing Apple
wireless internal architecture there might be another dependency I have
missed (maybe something within Apple802.11 framework as that has moved on a
version).
Thanks
Mark.
