That's my understanding. I haven't tested this extensively though.

It's on a Mac (I figure I'll hold off on iPhone programming. We don't
need another flashlight app!)
I really didn't want to have to go down another layer deeper. Ugh.
CFHTTPStream is surprisingly easy to use IMO, so this shouldn't be
too painful.
Well... for now I'll stick with NSURLConnection. Maybe if I get
adventurous I'll take a look at CFHTTPStream.
