Just FYI, that error is NSNetServicesUnknownError.
Do you use CFNetService or NSNetService directly?
What API are you using to "fetch HTTP URLs"?
Based on a quick check I can't see any place this error code is /ever/ generated, which I'll admit is a little odd. If you give me an API to focus on, I'll look in more detail.
