Interesting point: The 5GHz frequency won't go through walls and such very well. That's a concern. Which raises another question: What constitutes "close proximity"? Even in a large area, if I have two devices operating < 5 channels apart I do see interference, ostensibly due to channel overlap. I guess interference drops off by the standard 1/distance^2 ?
