I'm just AGAIN browfing the FxPlug docs and realized that my multiple readings over the years has not been as detailed as I thought. :-) Now that I'm actually looking to port some stuff I have this basic question:
Are images return premultiplied images, or straight?
RGB images are all premultiplied. I'm presuming that YUV+A would be awkward to return as premultiplied, but you never know.
I don't know. Paul? In Motion, if you are using the software path, you should get ARGB in all cases. If you're writing fragment programs, it doesn't really matter as the fragment program compiler does the right thing. But for the record, they are RGBA, I believe.
