Michael, if you look at the section in the FCP manual
starting on page 887, you will find a section on interfacing a control surface
(such as a mixer or CC CS) with FCP via MIDI.
Is there documentation somewhere that describes the type of MIDI
control that FCP supports? In particular, I'd be interested in starting and
stopping the record functionality within the voiceover tool.
I don't mean
to change the subject or anything, but using MIDI to control FCP never occurred
to me :)
