Broadcast Safe is showing the same problem.
Something about this file and the CPU path.
Thanks,
Micah

The Broadcast Safe filter is our only software filter. It's
under the "Video" category.
Thanks for the file. I'll check it out.

Hey guys, sorry to be silent,
on vacation. So yes, the 16 bit TIFF (link below) shows nasty results
in 8 bit and 32 bit float. An 8 bit TIFF is no problem in both 8 bit
and 32 bit float. All the built in (presumably GPU) effects look fine
with both TIFFs, but we are a CPU effect. Are there any built in CPU
effects?
Let me know if there is
anything else you need from me.

I think it's a bug in your TIFF loader.
Micah told me he was in an 8 bit project, and everything worked fine
with an 8 bit version of the TIFF file. Switching to the 16 version
caused the problem.
I don't think we can make that determination
without knowing whether his plugin is hardware or software. If it's
software, the problem could just be that the float path in his plugin
is not working correctly, or is expecting some different data than
what we pass. If it's hardware, then it looks more like a problem on
our end.
So putting a 16 bit TIFF image on an 8 bit
project will "promote" the effects to float? I wasn't aware of
that.
No, sorry. I misunderstood what you said the first time. I think I
get it now. I'd still be interested to see what it does with our built-in
effects. I'll give it a try later today and see what I find.
