FCP Studio 2

One of my clients just recently updated to Final Cut Studio 2. When connecting a DV camera to the system direct via firewire 400 FCPS2 can see the DV device but I get the following error. "Unable to compete because of no video source" Funny thing is that FCPS2 can control the camera but is unable to log and capture. It is possible that the camera is no longer support?
