Hi all,
I'm capturing video from a Sony DVCAM live (without recording to tape) over FireWire using the QTKit Capture APIs and writing out to a .mov using QTCaptureMovieFileOutput. QuickTime will happily open the files, and they contain DV video and 48KHz audio (multiple audio tracks... seems the audio is broken up instead of being on one whole track), but Final Cut Pro refuses to have anything to do with them - attempting to drag them to the timeline does nothing, to the browser complains that the file has an error.
Is there something obvious I'm doing wrong here? Am I posting to the wrong list? Should I give up computers and become a hermit? You single-handedly fought your way into this hopeless mess. -- /usr/games/fortune |
