It would be helpful if you included the text of the error that you're seeing. That will give us a better idea of what the problem might be. Is there something obvious I'm doing wrong here? Am I posting to the wrong list? Should I give up computers and become a hermit?
It's probably not the best list for this question, though someone might know the answer here. I would recommend posting to the Final Cut Studio support forums:
