In the release notes for FXPlug SDK 1.2 is the comment,

Remaining Issues in Final Cut Pro 6
...
Final Cut Pro 6 does not allow a filter to resize its output image. In addition, it no longer calls the -getOutputWidth:height: method.

Have there been any changes in this since 1.2? Is there now a way to resize output images?
