FxPlug SDK 1.2.4 build issues

  • Subject: FxPlug SDK 1.2.4 build issues

I just downloaded and installed the FxPlug 1.2.4 SDK. When I tried to rebuild some existing projects, I was getting "unknown load command" linker errors. When I backed down to the 1.2.3 SDK, the build worked as expected.

I did the build on a 10.4.11 system running Xcode 2.5. (My plugins run on 10.4.x and later so I prefer to build/test in that configuration.)

I suspect the issue to be either that 1.2.4 expects 10.5 and/or the linker commands are only valid for Xcode 3.x. I looked through both the 1.2.4 ReadMe and the SDK Overrview PDF but didn't see any build/ runtime restrictions. If there is at least a minimum OS requirement for the 1.2.4 SDK, the installer should do a check and refuse to install on earlier systems.

Any thoughts?

steve
