Hi Eberhard,
I don't believe that the FxTimingAPI has a way to query the filter
range (when you apply a filter to just a subrange of a clip). Please
file an enhancement request if you would like this functionality.

Hello Paul,
the latter case, I apply a filter to a subrange of the clip, but I
get the range of the clip as in the timeline. The clip itself may be
trimmed or not.

Hi Eberhard,
do you mean that you have trimmed the clip in the timeline, and you
are receiving the start time and duration of the full media? Or do
you mean that you have applied a filter to just one subrange of a
clip in the timeline?

Hello,
I'd like to get the start time and duration of an FxPlug effect in
FCP.
I think "startTimeForEffect:" and "durationForEffect:" should
return what I need, but both seem to return only the start time
and duration of the clip, the effect is applied to.
Regards,
Eberhard
