Hi, I tried to change the format of the edit proxy but all my tests
fail. The only working settings is the default "Apple PRORES 422 Edit
Proxy". As soon as I change the settings, to H264 or even a 422
Prorez 25% scale, When I do a check-out with Edit Proxy (Keep media
with Project), all medias in my project are Offline.
If I go where the edit proxy have been exported, (ex: project/media/
__FCS__localhost/dev/3/movie.mov) All edit proxy are renamed with a
digit like 245_movie.mov.
The result is that I cannot relink my media in my FCP project since
the name is not the same. In the clip properties/Format, the "Source"
link to the wrong path + the wrong filename (point to the original
filename, not the digit+filename of the edit proxy)
With the default Prores 422 Edit Proxy format, after the checkout, the
"Source" is automatically changed to match the edit proxy path + the
automatic rename with the digits.
Why it does not do the same with other formats?
