Just for completeness, here's a snippet of XML that is generated from Philip's 4th scenario:

	<name>from favorites</name>
	<children>
		<effect>
			<name>Travel-Lower Third.PAL from Favorites</name>

Motion templates created like this won't load when the XML is opened on another machine.
