Yes, QuickTime does not do the right thing with 59.94DF. This affects QuickTime Player and also if you use the QuickTime timecode routines.

There is even an old support not about this < http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2331 >

Final Cut doesn't have the problem because has its own timecode routines.
