I'm submitting a batch to Compressor from the command line that contains 1 or more jobs. From the docs:
"Once the job is submitted successfully, this command displays the batch
ID (identifier) and job ID (identifier) in the shell, and you can
monitor the progress of a batch in Batch Monitor."
which is true but it only seems to return the last jobID inside the submitted batch.
e.g. after submitting a batch containing 2 jobs, this is displayed:
2010-06-06 15:24:38.944 Compressor[16924:903] owner is: martin 2010-06-06 15:24:39.591 Compressor[16924:903] <jobID E3BFB9FC-EF1A-4FCC-8874-9AC67CD01E94 /> <batchID 65A5E5C7-06B7-4860-ABFD-40697237011C />
Is this the expected behaviour or should I file a bug?
I realise I can query Batch Monitor for that batchID and get a listing of jobIDs within jobStatus so it's not a huge deal, but just seems a bit odd.
thanks
