Darrin, it seems your method effectively assigns a generic / TextEdit doc icon to the bundle...
Inside the FCP bundle there are 2 icns that one might use, called Final Cut Pro-plugin and Final Cut Pro-effect, respectively. The FX one would be the right one to use for an FxPlug, no?
